Robin Burnett - Partner

Having trained the old fashioned way in 5 year Articles in Somerset, Robin qualified as a Solicitor on 1st June 1970. He had a spell in Hong Kong and was admitted to their Law Society in 1971.

On returning to England, Robin practised in London and Ely, before starting Burnett Barker Solicitors in Bury St Edmunds with David Barker on 1st September 1979.

His speciality now is the administration of estates, preparation of wills and commercial transactions.

Over the years Robin has been involved with Citizens Advice Bureau, St Edmundsbury Mediation Service and an officer of the Suffolk and North Essex Law Society. For some years he was chair of the Bury St Edmunds Art Gallery and is a governor of a local Upper school.
